No collection of stop motion animations would be complete without mention of the very disturbing and amazingly creative video for the song Prison Sex by Tool. The video was created and directed by Tool's guitarist Adam Jones in 1994. It was banned from MTV after only a few runs which is odd because it features no cussing, sex or violence toward any human or animal. Prison Sex features a broken doll like feature that is stalked by an alien. The song covertly deals with the broad topic of abuse.

I love this incredibly creative stop-motion music video thats part holiday tale and part global warming tale. The music that its set to is equally cool as the video is which uses all sorts of household items such as nicknack's, kids toys and marshmallows.

Here is an excellent music video for a song called Facing The Void from the group General Elekriks off their latest album Cliquety Kliqk. The video features some really cool puppets and gives a Tim Burton vibe. Its one of my all time favorite stop-motion films! You can get a high res Quicktime version here.

Here is an excellent video featuring two actors in everyday places. This one has some very creative application of stop motion. The film is about two guys (Tony and Paul) in a stop motion battle! As I'm writing, it has more than half a million YouTube views.
